Backyard Project.

Put most of the items together but now I’m trying to figure out a layout that will work best. Red line in the first picture will likely be a floating deck I build for Saiyler this week. Then I will base the rest of the play-sets around that.

Garage Organization.

Cleaned out the first half of this garage. I was originally going to wall mount a lot of my tools in here, but I would consider this the primary garage for the entire household. So I moved the majority of my tools into our other garage. We (very fortunately) have a 4 car garage so everything is in the other garage space for the moment. I think for this garage, it will mainly consist of baby/kid related organization, and car related organization for Tyler’s car. Maybe some gardening stuff in here depending on how I utilize the space. I’m thinking of adding Ikea garage storage to save money.

Gate Keypad.

This is taking longer than I expected. I started this about 2 weeks ago, but ran into some issues with wiring and mounting options for the Ring camera we bought. I am using the doorbell elite pro from Ring with POE, but unfortunately they don’t specifically make mounts that go with gate keypads. So I’m attempting to create my own mount with this weatherproof gray box. I could also completely take out the black pole and find something a bit more compatible with the ring camera but I do not want to even attempt anymore work with wiring at the moment, especially since I’m pregnant. I don’t believe the voltage at the gate is high voltage. It’s low enough to shock me if I fuck up but not even remotely enough to kill me. Also yes I checked Etsy for 3D printed mounts but I am too lazy to wait for something to come in so this is my solution. I just need to go to Lowes or Home Depot this week and get a Cobalt drill bit so it can go into the steel.

Baby Crib Wall Protectors

Trying to use old foam from an old baby project I did, to create crib protectors so Saiyler stops hitting her head on the damn crib. I cut the pieces to size but now I need to go pick out a cloth material and sow it to make an insert for these. I’ve already done it once before (I made Saiyler some bed guard-rails when we were co-sleeping together).

Changed Lights

Nothing special lol Tyler just told me to change the lights so I got new ones lol.

Shiplap Wall

This was supposed to be done months ago when Eric was here but I just never got a chance to finish cutting the pieces. This is a shiplap wall I’m making for our guest gaming room. I plan to paint it black and eventually add shelving and storage but that won’t be for a while. I did end up finishing cutting the pieces for the wall so I just need to nail them sometime this week or next week. I’d eventually like to cover the whole room in shiplap but that will be a nightmare so I’m gonna wait on starting another new project. My adhd is going crazy.
